Beltane is coming!!!!!

Mon, May 1st

Beltane is the Gaelic May Day festival. Commonly observed on the first of May, the festival falls midway between the spring equinox and summer solstice in the northern hemisphere. The festival name is synonymous with the month marking the start of summer in Ireland, May being Mí na Bealtaine.

Celebrationslighting bonfires, decorating homes with May flowers, making May bushes, visiting holy wells, feasting

Observed byHistorically: Gaels; Today: Irish people, Scottish people, Manx people, Modern Pagang

How are you celebrating?

here are some things i have done to give you some ideas.

- Step outside, close your eyes and listen to the birds and trees murmuring

- Cuddle up to a fireplace video and send cozy wishes to people you love

-Touch the morning dew and rub it on your skin

- Create a Beltane tea blend that is special to you
- Honey Emulsions
- Bake some sweet treats with flowers and honey and milk and corn.
- Feed the birds (Like the bird lady in marry poppins.. sorry i loved that movie growing up)
- Have a mineral rich bath
- Paint your nails bright and fun colors
- Set up a fairy garden or altar outside or in a houseplant

DONT FORGET TO PUT RIBBONS IN YOUR HAIR
I do this to represent the may pole and braid in my hopes and dreams into a knot spell in my hair for the summer.
